Mr. Brent Burger was elected as a board member in 2007. He operates three True Value stores in Madison and Winslow, and two Home and Garden Showplaces in Skowhegan and Farmingdale, Maine.
Before joining True Value Company in 2000, Mr. Burger served as district manager for Starbucks Corp. in San Francisco. Previously, he served as vice president of West Coast operations for TCBY Enterprises Inc., where he oversaw franchise operations and led a team of eight division managers. Mr. Burger began his retail career in 1985 as the youngest TCBY franchisee in the company’s history.
His additional leadership experience includes service on the Board of Directors for the Greater Blacksburg (Va.) Chamber of Commerce, and positions on advisory boards for Agway Dealer Stores and TCBY franchisees.
Mr. Burger earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Virginia Tech University. |
