Brenda Richardson, MA, RD, LD, CD is owner and president of Brenda Richardson Associates, Inc., based out of Pekin, Indiana. She has more than twenty years of proven success in directing multi-million dollar food service operations. Brenda has held key leadership positions as a dietitian in the Army Medical Specialist Corp., school nutrition services, multiple long term and acute health care companies. Brenda is a national lecturer, author of The Nutrition Professional’s Pocket Guide to the MDS Version 2.0 published March 2003, and Managing Successful Nutrition Programs with the Prospective Payment System (PPS) published in the fall 2000, and contributing author of Nutrition Care of the Older Adult published by the Consultant Dietitians in Health Care Facilities Dietetic Practice Group in 1998. She was a recipient of the US Foodservice Recognition Award at the 2003 Annual American Dietetic Association Food and Nutrition Conference for her contributions to the industry and to the Consulting Dietitians in HealthCare Facilities (CD-HCF) practice group.
