Brenda M. Morrish is vice president of Human Resources for the Government Communications Systems Division (GCSD). Mrs. Morrish reports to the vice president of Human Resources for the corporation and the corporate executive vice president and GCSD president. GCSD develops and produces advanced communication and information systems for the Department of Defense and other government agencies and their prime contractors. Mrs. Morrish joined Harris in 1973. She began her career in human resources at Electronic Systems Sector in 1977 as a specialist in the college and professional employment department. She went on to hold positions of increasing responsibility including recruiter, employment supervisor, compensation analyst, and manager of the compensation, benefits, and HRIS functions. In 1992 she assumed the role of Human Resources director for the Transcomm Division and in 1997 for the Aerospace Systems Division. In 1997 she assumed the position of vice president of Human Resources for the former Electronic Systems Sector. Mrs. Morrish holds a B.S. degree from Rollins College in business and economics. She is a Certified Compensation Professional, and has been an active member, including past chairperson, of the Aerospace Industries Association Compensation Practices Committee. Mrs. Morrish also served on the board of the Brevard Compensation and Benefits Association.
