has been a Genetic Counselor with GeneDx for over 3 years, and currently serves as the Acting Director of Genetic Counseling Services. She received her degree in Human Genetics and Genetic Counseling from Howard University in Washington, DC. Prior to joining us, Brandi lived in Detroit, Michigan, working as a clinical research scientist at Henry Ford Hospital and publishing multiple clinically based papers. Brandi has worked with patients in various disciplines, including prenatal, pediatric, and in adult clinics. She has a particular interest in educating the public and private sectors on rare genetic disorders and her expertise is in X-linked Hydrocephalus. She enjoys volunteering with children with genetic disorders through KEEN and is the owner of a local dog rescue. Brandi is an active member of the Genetic Alliance, The CHARGE Syndrome Foundation, and the National Society of Genetic Counselors' General and Industry Special Interest Groups. |
