is the newest member of the genetic counseling team at GeneDx, Inc. Brad is a native Marylander who graduated from the University of Maryland Genetic Counseling Program in 2006. Research for his graduate thesis involved interviewing parents of children with Down syndrome with regards to the Special Needs Assessment and Individualized Education Plans (IEP) in the state of Maryland. Prior to working at GeneDx, Brad spent several summers working for the Remote Sensing and Hydrology Lab at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Beltsville, Maryland. Brad was introduced to the world of genetic counseling while interning in the Medical Genetics Branch at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors. |
