Mr. Herrema is an Associate in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Santa Barbara office and a member of the Water & Public Lands Group. His practice includes a broad range of water issues in California, including strategic water supply planning, water rights permitting and regulatory compliance, adjudications of groundwater rights, water utility concerns and environmental matters affecting water use, including CEQA compliance. Mr. Herrema works closely with numerous public water agencies, special districts, private landowners and water utilities, assisting them with transactional negotiations, litigation and administrative agency proceedings. He serves as agency counsel to the South Tahoe Public Utility District and represents private landowners in the Antelope Valley Groundwater Adjudication. |
