Brad Shannahan utilizes his upbeat personality to serve candidates and clients primarily in the Northeast, specifically Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. Brad says, "My goal as a recruiter is to bring the top talent in the industry to my clients and to be a valuable resource in the healthcare arena. I especially enjoy talking with candidates, learning what motivates them and guiding them through the hiring process."
After graduating from the University of Iowa (major Hawkeye fan) with a BA in Communications, Brad worked for Chrysler Finance for six years in customer service and collections. Brad has some interesting stories to tell from his days as a "repo man." Most recently before coming to the Vermilion Group, Brad was a District Sales Manager for a large distributor representing the movie business. He traveled extensively throughout the Midwest for the major studios marketing nearly every major film that has hit the box office in the last ten years. Brad worked closely with independent business owners, helping them to grow their business.
As a recruiter, Brad enjoys providing his clients with the best investment they can make in their business---their people. His focus is on the hospital pharmacy world. He has been incredibly successful recruiting outstanding Directors of Pharmacy, Clinical Coordinators and Clinical Specialists. Brad looks forward to helping candidates to advance their career and helping clients who are in need of talented pharmacists. His goal with clients is to build a long term relationship, becoming their recruiter of choice for all their healthcare needs. His goal with candidates is to help them to find the job of their dreams.
