Mr. Forst has overall leadership, strategic, and operational responsibilities at Gradient. He has over 25 years experience as a CEO, public company executive, corporate lawyer, and university professor. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Forst was the President and CEO of Simula Inc.(AMEX:SMU), a publicly traded company that he led through a successful corporate turn around and merger. He also was a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to that he was in-house General Counsel. From 1985 to 1995, he practiced corporate and securities law in two major Phoenix law firms representing issuers, underwriters, and broker dealers. From 1981 to 1985 Mr. Forst concentrated in corporate law and finance at Shell Oil Company. He has extensive experience in executive management, strategic planning, finance, IPOs, securities, mergers and acquisitions, technology commercialization, corporate governance, and corporate law. He is an adjunct professor of corporate law at Arizona State University College of Law. He also serves as Audit Committee Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of a NASDAQ publicly traded company. Mr. Forst holds an LL.M. from Columbia University School of Law. |
