Brad Busse is president & chief operating officer of Daniels & Associates. He is responsible for managing the firm's day-to-day operations and is co-chairman of Daniels & Associates Executive Committee. He also has primary responsibility for leading the Telecommunications Group, comprised of 13 professionals and support staff who provide mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and financial advisory services to a broad range of telecommunications-based service providers, both domestically and internationally. Mr. Busse is regarded as one of the most seasoned and innovative investment bankers in the telecommunications business. He has completed a number of the industry's most significant transactions which has given him exposure to every major player. He and his team have completed over 500 transactions valued at approximately $15 billion. Mr. Busse joined Daniels in 1985 after receiving broad experience in finance and accounting. After briefly serving in the cable television group, he took responsibility for building the Telecommunications Group including hiring the existing team of professionals. He began his professional career at Arthur Andersen & Co., then became a financial manager for a $1 billion energy concern. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Denver and an MBA from Regis College. Mr. Busse served as chairman of the board for the PCIA Foundation from 1999 to 2001. In addition, he is involved in several other industry associations and civic causes. For example, he serves on the Governor's Commission on Science & Technology for the State of Colorado, the board of Mile High United Way and the executive advisory board of the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. He is also active in Colorado Concern, an issues-oriented, non-partisan association of business owners and CEOs that focus on Colorado's economy and lifestyle. |
