Brad has thrived on forward-looking endeavors since he was a teenager, when he created his city s first progressive rock FM radio station in 1971. His career on the leading edge of video retailing began with a small storefront and just 100 movies. By 1987, his three-store chain Video Adventure was ranked by revenue among the top 100 video rental operations in North America. He helped to conceive and launch Home Vision/PMI Home Video, a leading distributor of foreign and fine arts programs. Brad was inducted into the Merchandising Hall of Fame in 1990 and named Retailer of the Year for 1991 by the major motion picture studios. He also served on the board of the Video Software Dealers Association from 1986 to 1994, and was president of this international trade group for the 1992-93 association year. |
