Brad Anderson is the Chief Information Officer of Hewitt Associates. His responsibilities include general oversight of Hewitt's information technology infrastructure, including governance processes. Brad also advises on business approaches to using technology, and on how high-level technical architectures can affect Hewitt.
Since joining Hewitt in 1983, Brad has held many technology and business leadership roles with a focus on delivering technology solutions for Hewitt's clients. He has a deep knowledge of the HR industry and has a proven record of inspiring his teams to deliver superior results. Hewitt has been recognized multiple times as one of the top companies for IT workers because of the company's leading-edge use of technology.
Brad was named CIO in 2006. Prior to that he served as HR Outsourcing Technology Leader and was responsible for the delivery of global technology services for Hewitt's outsourcing clients. Brad began his career at the company as a programmer analyst in the Defined Contribution Practice. He spent several years in Atlanta establishing Hewitt's benefit administration center for the Southeast US, and became Southeast Region Technology Practice Leader.
Prior to Hewitt becoming a publicly-traded company, Brad was a member of Hewitt's Executive Committee. He currently serves on the Northern Illinois University Operations Management and Information Systems Advisory Board. Brad is an active leader in the company's diversity initiatives and community relations efforts.
He holds a bachelor's of science degree in computer science from Northern Illinois University. |
