Bonnie J. Warren is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Washington, D.C. office. She is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department and concentrates her practice on intellectual property law and patent litigation.
Before establishing a career in law, Bonnie worked in the software design and development industry. She designed utility software for NASA that allowed for better storage and access of important flight data. Bonnie has also worked as a software consultant, developing commercial software for several large scale operating systems.
Prior to joining the Firm, Bonnie clerked under the Honorable Judge Edward S. Smith on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. There she gained experience in drafting judicial opinions, briefs and legal memoranda.
She holds a bachelor's degree. in chemistry and received her Master's degree in computer science.
Bonnie is registered to practice in the District of Columbia and Alabama. She is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Federal Circuit Bar Association. |
