As the vice president of marketing and business strategy for the Avicena Group, Bolko zu Stolberg brings more than 15 years of marketing, business management and business development experience to the company. Mr. zu Stolberg's business expertise was formed at leading international companies such as the Gillette Company, Procter & Gamble Company and Braun AG, where he managed business units, led marketing teams and developed new trade channels for the North American, European, and select Asian and Latin American markets.
Previous to joining the Avicena Group, Mr. zu Stolberg was a business and marketing strategy consultant for a number of U.S. and international organizations. Prior to his consulting work, Mr. zu Stolberg held a number of senior management positions in multi-national companies, including the Gillette Company, where he led the turn-around strategies for the $120 million Oral-B brand, and a $100 million division of Braun's worldwide household business. While at the Procter & Gamble Company, he successfully transformed the company's European electrical toothbrush business and the Vidal Sassoon hair care franchise.
Throughout his career, Mr. zu Stolberg has been recognized for his strengths in strategic and disciplined marketing management, his entrepreneurial approach to business, and his ability to manage brands and business units to sustain profitability. He has successfully managed key portfolio brands, led new product introductions and has orchestrated a number of growth strategies in the OTC and the packaged goods categories.
Mr. zu Stolberg received a B.A. in communications and an MBA, both with honors, from San Jose State University. |
