Bobby has broad investment banking and operating experience. Prior to founding Boxwood Partners, he was a senior banker with Harris Williams & Co., working in the Cobblestone Advisors group. At Cobblestone, he focused on and led middle market transactions for private equity groups, family-owned and other private companies, and publicly traded clients in the U.S. and abroad. He has also worked in the investment banking departments of Wheat First Butcher Singer (now Wachovia Securities) and Scott & Stringfellow, Inc. (now BB&T Capital Markets). In addition to his extensive middle market investment banking experience, Bobby was a co-founder of a private equity-backed automotive services business with locations throughout the Southeast, where he served as President and Chief Financial Officer. He holds an M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School at the University of Virginia. He lives in Richmond with his wife and family. |
