He brings his nearly 15 years of experience in architecting and implementing large-scale GRC(Governance Risk & Compliance) systems for Fortune 500 companies to the daily operations of Exterro.
Balachandran founded Exterro, Inc. with the conviction that process improvements in the legal industry discovery management technology in particular can be driven from lessons learned in other industries. He leads the company in building a comprehensive platform for global corporations and their outside counsel to manage their governance, risk and compliance issues within the legal realm.
Balachandran leads the overall strategy and vision of the company, providing the senior management team with a unified vision and enabling the organization to grow aggressively and sustainably. Balachandran fosters a corporate culture within Exterro that supports innovation, creativity, flexibility and a daily dose of fun.
Before founding Exterro, Balachandran worked extensively in financial services, healthcare and telecommunication industries building mission-critical applications. He holds a BS in computer science from Govt. College of Technology in Coimbatore, India and a MS in Computer Science from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. |
