Bob Whitson joined Emulex in October 2006 and serves as senior vice president and general manager of Embedded Storage Products. Mr. Whitson is responsible for developing and executing Emulex's end-to-end embedded storage products strategy, which spans embedded switches, routers, bridges and I/O controllers. This product family augments Emulex's strategy of providing complete end-to-end embedded and multi-protocol storage connectivity solutions.Previously, Mr. Whitson was President and CEO of Sierra Logic, which was acquired by Emulex in October 2006. Prior to co-founding Sierra Logic, Mr. Whitson served as world wide marketing manager of the storage networking division at Agilent Technologies. Bob Whitson holds a bachelor's degree in medical microbiology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. |
