Mr. Vogels has been serving as Controller at Apex Silver since joining the company in January 2005. Prior to that he served as corporate Controller for Meridian Gold Company. Mr. Vogels has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry where he has held senior accounting finance and tax positions at both corporate and operations levels with major international companies including Phelps Dodge and Inco. Mr. Vogels began his career in public accounting where he earned his CPA certification. He also holds B.Sc. and MBA degrees from Colorado State University. |
