Bob Slagle: Bob retired from Alcoa Inc. in 2002 as executive vice president and member of Alcoa’s Executive Council. During his thirty-seven year Alcoa career, he served as CEO of companies in Brazil and Australia that were among the most significant industrial organizations in those countries. During his career with Alcoa, Bob also held positions in the corporate strategic planning group, served as President of Alcoa’s global industrial chemicals, bauxite, and alumina businesses, and was Treasurer. In his final position, he was the senior executive responsible for the corporate human resource organization and corporate communications.
