Since joining Sockwell in 1995, Bob has developed specialties working for manufacturing/distribution, real estate, and technology clients. He has also handled numerous assignments in the financial services industry. He participates in the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, the Urban Land Institute, and the Association for Corporate Growth. In addition, he is a member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants’ Americas Council.

Locally, Bob serves on the Board of Managers for the Johnston YMCA and is Board Chairman of the Chapel of Christ the King Weekday School. Earlier in his career, Bob was an Audit Manager with Price Waterhouse. A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Bob's academic credits include a B.A. in economics from Davidson College and an M.S. in accounting from the University of Virginia.
