As chief executive officer, Bob Segert brings more than 15 years of broad and diverse business leadership experience to GXS. He has extensive experience in executing corporate and business unit strategies, profit and loss management, business development and sales and marketing. Prior to joining GXS in 2008, Mr. Segert was leader of the Global Financial Products Industry at EDS. In this role, Mr. Segert drove global industry strategies, product offerings, go-to-market approaches and sales support for the financial services industry. Mr. Segert oversaw mission-critical services, such as financial transaction processing, mortgage and consumer loan processing, life insurance business process outsourcing (BPO) and credit card processing.
While at EDS, Mr. Segert also served as chief marketing officer, general manager of U.S. Financial Services and managing director of Corporate Strategy and Planning.
Previously, Mr. Segert held roles at A.T. Kearney and Frito-Lay. He received a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. |
