Bob Schoenbaum, principal and co-founder of KeyStone Search, has 21 years of executive search industry experience. He was previously vice president of a leading Twin Cities executive search firm. In addition to his involvement in the executive search process, Bob shares responsibility for business development and client retention and plays a key role in leveraging the company's culture and core values. Bob has built a reputation as a top executive recruiter in the transportation, retail, distribution, high tech, and manufacturing industries. His functional specialties include executive/general management, information technology, sales/marketing, finance and operations.
Raised in Minneapolis, Bob attended the University of Minnesota, majoring in speech communications. He also studied documentary filmmaking at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Bob is active in the community as a board member of Hill Cities and Mixed Blood Theatre. He is a World Vision child sponsor and has traveled to remote parts of Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya, where he met his sponsor child and toured relief and micro-economic development projects with The Windpump Team. Bob lives in Edina with his wife, Angela Surprenant. Hobbies include bicycling, golf and summer weekends at the lake. Bob is also the proud parent of Nathan Surprenant. |
