Bob Rubenkonig is the Vice President and Director of Marketing and Communications. He directs the cohesive communications platform and national marketing and public relations programs to build visibility and recognition for the Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse brand, its core business segments and all projects in development or operation. Mr. Rubenkonig's principal activities include creating an integrated corporate communications program that actively demonstrates the Company's business strategy and achieves national recognition for its projects and business plan among SBER's many audiences; directing targeted public relations programs that positively influence knowledge and perception of SBER's projects among its many publics; producing the strategic communications program for the Company's mixed-use and residential projects in development; and provide communications strategy and guidance to effectively launch projects in the development pipeline. Mr. Rubenkonig also advises and consults field marketing personnel and field resources, providing insight and guidance to create a consistent and cohesive approach to marketing, event planning, merchant relations and media communications consistent with SBER corporate messages. Prior to joining SBER, Mr. Rubenkonig was Vice President and Director of Corporate Communications for The Rouse Company, one of the nation's premier real estate development companies. While at The Rouse Company, he directed the Company's international public relations effort and created and directed its national corporate communications and marketing programs. He also directed the Rouse Company's Community Enrichment Program, which distributed corporate contributions to more than 170 local and regional organizations across the country. Mr. Rubenkonig held various marketing and communications positions with The Rouse Company since his original employment in 1979 as the Community Relations Director for the development of Harborplace in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Rubenkonig served as a member of the Baltimore School of the Arts FANS Board, has been a volunteer for New Song Academy's private/public partnership and has been a volunteer for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. Mr. Rubenkonig also served as the secretary of the Historic Otterbein Community Association in Baltimore. Mr. Rubenkonig is currently a Senior Credited Marketing Director for the International Council of Shopping Centers. He has won several Retail Marketing Association awards and many International MAXI awards for communication and marketing excellence. |
