Bob Palmer is Executive Vice-President, Procurement & Merchandising. Bob is responsible for the management of all procurement, merchandising, marketing, trade relations, and supply chain initiatives in perishables and non perishables. Bob joined C&S in February 1986 as the Head Buyer and served as the Director of Procurement until 1995 when he was promoted to Vice-President. He was promoted to Senior Vice-President of Non-Perishable Procurement at C&S in October of 1996. Prior to joining C&S, Bob worked for four years with Riverside Markets, a division of the Penn Traffic Company in Dubois, Pennsylvania. Bob spent four years as a retail store manager at Albertson's Southco Division in Florida and Alabama. In 2002, Bob was named a Director Emeritus of the Northeast Wholesale Food Distributors Association. Bob earned a BS in Business Management from Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH. |
