Most recently Myers served technology leaders in Asia and North America as an independent consultant under the auspices of Naturally Open, Inc., the consulting firm he founded in 2000.
Myers aided companies to define and implement innovative technology and marketing initiatives, including international partnering strategies and multilingual content monetization technologies. Prior to his consulting practice, Myers served as executive vice president at Bowne Global Solutions (BGS) in New York. There he led a global team of 500 engineers, testers, project managers and localization experts that achieved dramatic results for notable clients including Sun and Oracle. Under his leadership, BGS was awarded a $15 million contract - the industry's single largest localization project at that time -to localize Microsoft's software development environment.
Myers also served as Vice President of Asian Operations for BGS, rapidly expanding its presence there through growth and acquisition.
In 1989, Myers founded Pacifitech Corporation, a software development and localization consultancy based in Japan. Achieving stellar growth in sales, operations and service offerings over a period of eight years, Pacifitech was a pioneer in defining the software localization process and boasted a client list that included industry stalwarts such as Microsoft, Symantec and Palm. The company was acquired by BGS in 1997.
