Mr. Jackman is responsible for the legal function of InterContinental Hotels Group’s Americas division.
Mr. Jackman joined InterContinental Hotels Group in 1981 and has held roles of increasing responsibility in the company’s legal departments around the world for more than 22 years. Beginning in 1989 Mr. Jackman served as senior vice president and general counsel for the Europe, Middle East and Africa division of InterContinental Hotels Group where he was responsible for providing legal services to the company throughout the region and also headed up the risk management function. Prior to that, Mr. Jackman served from 1988 to 1989 as vice president and general counsel for the southeast United States, the Caribbean and Latin America. From 1981 to 1988, Mr. Jackman served in various roles of increasing responsibility in the legal department of Holiday Inns, Inc., in both Memphis and London.
Prior to joining InterContinental Hotels Group, Mr. Jackman began his career with General Electric in 1976, where he served in various legal positions.
A native of New York, Mr. Jackman holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a juris doctor from Cornell Law School. |
