Bob Franco is the Director, Human Resources and Training at CEC since September 2005. Bob’s background is as a Senior Human Resources Generalist with strong business intuition with expertise in leading people and organizations, organizational change and strategic planning. He is a strong thought leader with outstanding leadership, collaboration and ability to drive results. At CEC, Bob has led the implementation of online HR systems (salary administration, job posting, company policies, etc.); a corporate-wide performance management system, including talent assessment; consistent compensation ranges; and standardized training content, including management training. Under Bob’s leadership, the CEC HR team has implemented important initiatives such as an Employee Assistance Program and Short-Term Disability. He also has brought in external partners to create efficient, quality processes. In addition, Bob played a key role in defining the CEC information technology strategy. Prior to CEC, Bob worked at American Express, Novartis, Automatic Data Processing and The Rockefeller University. In particular, in 17 years at American Express, Bob played leadership roles on numerous acquisitions and reorganizations; led the improvement of Employee Satisfaction; and implemented HR initiatives that had positive impact on company performance. Bob was highlighted in The Innovation Superhighway (Amidon; Butterworth Heinemann, 2002). He was also interviewed for publication by Pegasus Communications (Leverage Points) and the Institute for Business Trends Analysis at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (Downtown Business Quarterly). He earned a B.A. from Rutgers College and M.S. from Stevens Institute of Technology. |
