As Group Head Wholesale Banking, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, TD Securities and Vice Chair, TD Bank Financial Group, Bob Dorrance leads the integrated investment dealer business of TD Bank Financial Group. He is responsible for determining the strategic direction of the firm as well as the day-to-day management of the global wholesale investment dealer operations.
Previously, Bob managed TD Securities' Institutional Equities' Sales, Trading and Research groups, as well as Equity Capital Markets and Proprietary Equity Trading, and was head of Investment Banking.
Bob joined TD Securities in November 2000 when TDBFG purchased Newcrest Capital, where he had been President and Chief Executive Officer since 1995. Prior to helping found Newcrest, he worked at Nesbitt Burns for 18 years.
Bob holds a Master of Business Administration from McGill University, an Honours Bachelor of Science from Queen's University, and has his Chartered Financial Analyst designation. |
