Bob Dahlberg has over 20 years of semiconductor and software industry experience, primarily in bringing new technologies to market. Early in his career he was Field Marketing Manager at Intel, responsible for securing design wins for digital telephony, digital signal processing, silicon foundry, and Ethernet products. In 1988, Bob began his twelve-year career at Synopsys in Marketing, by launching and evangelizing Synopsys's pre-revenue product. Two years later, as Sales Director for Japan/Asia, he grew the region contribution to 24% of the corporate total. In 1994, he became GM of the Service Division, a $100 million Synopsys business unit, and in 1998 he became Vice President of Business Development, where he completed four acquisitions and established the Synopsys Venture Fund which made 13 investments in private companies during a 3- year period. In 2001, bitten by the start up bug, he joined another design automation software company, ReShape, Inc., as Vice President of Business Development where he contributed to raising $24 million in venture capital. |
