First I have served as a senior executive of major corporations listed on the New York Stock Exchange. I was CEO of my own manufacturing firm with which I became a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and I serve on boards of directors. I visit client firms to learn and understand their business, their culture and the job to be filled. I approach the assignment from the understanding of my background, which is line management. I am a competitor, having been a swimming world record holder while at Yale and also representing the United States on its international tennis teams in Mexico and Europe. This competitive drive is carried into my business.
