Bob R. Simpson - is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of XTO Energy Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Simpson has been a director of the Company since 1990, and is one of the co-founders of XTO. He has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer or held similar positions with the Company and its predecessors since 1986. Mr. Simpson was Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development at Southland Royalty Company (1979-1986) and Tax Manager at Southland Royalty Company (1976-1979).
The native Texan grew up in Cisco. He attended Baylor University where he earned a BS degree in Accounting with honors and then an MBA. |
