Blake Prichard is executive vice president responsible for retail payment processing, information technology services, and customer relations. Retail payments include check clearing and settlement, automated clearinghouse (ACH) services, and services for the U.S. Treasury. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has one of the largest check processing operations in the Federal Reserve System, handling about 4 million items, averaging $6 billion per day.
Prichard has served more than 30 years with the Federal Reserve, including more than 20 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where he managed its check processing operations and held other senior management positions.
Prichard is responsible for several major projects nationally, including payment fraud research and the development of tools and systems to combat check fraud.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Boston. |
