Blair Wheeler joined AspenTech in 2005 as Senior Vice President, Marketing and leads the company's product management, product marketing, corporate marketing, and partners organizations. Wheeler brings to AspenTech oil and gas industry experience and over 20 years of technology marketing, product management, and partner development experience. Prior to joining AspenTech, Wheeler led marketing at Relicore, Inc., a privately-funded company that provides enterprise IT infrastructure management software. Before his association with Relicore, he ran strategic business development projects for the Applications Technology Group at Cisco Systems, and was Vice President of Business Development at WebLine Communications prior to its acquisition by Cisco. Wheeler’s experience also includes senior-level positions at Avid Technology, The Boston Consulting Group, and Amoco Production Company. He holds an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School and a BS degree in Geology and Geophysics from Yale College. |
