Blain Cheshire joined Zed USA as the Financial Controller in June of 2006, and quickly became Zed USA's VP of Finance. Blaine began his career in public accounting with KPMG LLP and earned his license as a Certified Public Accountant in 2000. In 2001 he joined the Dark Fiber team at Level 3 Communications where he developed revenue and cash reporting models. In 2002 he moved to Level 3 Corporate Finance where he managed budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis for numerous departments with an annual operating budget of $90M, capital budgets of $600M and headcount of 650+ persons. He also assisted with Sarbanes-Oxley implementation and compliance. The year 2005 saw him join Promotech Research Associates as a Senior Business Analyst. At Promotech he was responsible for the development of all proposals that are sent out for bid, as well as the accounting and finance integration of new lines of business and the development of better business practices for the whole of the enterprise. |
