Mr. Graffunder is a 36-year veteran in the food and beverage industry. Prior to co-founding Fairmount Food Group, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Morningstar Foods, Inc., a $1.1 billion subsidiary of Dean Foods that manufactures and distributes specialty refrigerated products. During Mr. Graffunder's tenure with Morningstar, sales and operating profits doubled due to organic sales growth, improved operational efficiencies and several acquisitions that were successfully assimilated. In addition to his duties at Morningstar, Mr. Graffunder was also responsible for the Dean Foods Specialty Products Group as well as its fluid milk, juice and coffee operations in Puerto Rico. Prior to joining Dean Foods, he served as President of Authentic Specialty Foods, Inc., a fast growth manufacturer and distributor of Mexican Foods that was based in Grand Prairie, Texas. Mr. Graffunder played a key role in returning the company to profitability and successfully integrated three add-on acquisitions subsequent to the company's IPO. Mr. Graffunder previously served as President of Oak Farms Dairy. Mr. Graffunder began his career in 1970 with the Sealtest Division of Kraft Foods. |
