Billy C. Eason was appointed Vice President Service Development in June 2007. He was Senior Vice President of the Southern Region upon its creation in January 2007. He previously served as Senior Vice President of the Rail Link Region since May 2005. Mr. Eason joined the company in 2001 and was promoted to Vice President Railroad Operations in 2002 with responsibility for all of the Region’s short line railroad operations. His 40-year railroad career includes positions in operations sales and marketing customer service and car management with the Atlantic Coast Line Seaboard Coast Line and CSX Transportation. He was Vice President Network Operations and Vice President Service Lanes before leaving CSX Transportation in 1997. He then performed consulting work in the transportation field before returning to railroading full time with GWI.
Mr. Eason completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program in 1995. |
