Bill Trautman is a Managing Director with Dupont White & Stone LLC. He has been in the executive search profession since 1990. Prior to joining Dupont White & Stone LLC, Mr. Trautman was a senior executive with DHR International, AT Kearney, and Boyden, all top tier retained executive search firms. He has managed and conducted assignments to recruit senior executives in all functional disciplines. His clients have ranged in size from the Fortune 100 to medium-size private companies. A representative list of his search clients includes Verizon, EDS, AT&T, Symbol Technologies, Honeywell, Motorola, Nissan, Armor Holdings, Dover, Crane Co., LSG Lufthansa, Lexis-Nexis, Standard & Poor's, and Caremark Rx. Mr. Trautman is active in the firm's Industrial, Communications and Media, Technology, and Board practices. Most of his searches are at the Board member, CxO, Vice President, Director, and General Manager levels. Prior to entering the executive search profession, Mr. Trautman held a number of senior executive and operating positions in financial services, manufacturing, and logistics. He began his professional career with Ford and Litton, progressing to CFO and VP of Seatrain Container Lines. Subsequently, Mr. Trautman was named Managing Director with the Wall Street firms of Sterling & Yorke and Moore & Schley, where he managed their investment banking practices, with direct responsibility for corporate finance and M&A activities. Mr. Trautman holds an MA degree in Finance and a BA degree in Business Administration and Economics. He has served on the Board of Directors of several public companies, is a member of the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs, a member of the Society for Information Management, a former Director of the New Jersey American Cancer Society, and a member of the Yale Club of NYC. Mr. Trautman and his family reside in New Jersey.
