As Chief Technologist for Mobilisa, Dr. William Roof is responsible for ensuring Mobilisa remains at the forefront of the latest in Mobile and Wireless technology.Dr. Roof has nearly 30 years of progressively demanding senior management, engineering and intelligence assignments. He has in depth experience in profit/loss management, long range planning, resource allocation, program management, system design and training. His successful track record in managing large, multi-task engineering projects with a focus on hardware, software, inventory/supply management and radio frequency analysis and development are a tremendous asset to our company. Dr. Roof also is a retired Navy Reserve officer, having recently completed a 30 year military career focusing on electronic and human intelligence, counterterrorism and law enforcement.Dr. Roof has a Ph.D. in Software Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, an MBA from Loyola, and a Bachelors of Science from the US Military Academy. He has served as CTO or VP Engineering for three high-tech firms, and conducted his Ph.D. dissertation on the topic of Floating Area Networks and predictive signal routing. |
