Bill has 28 years experience in operations management supporting the computer hardware and software industry. He spent more than ten years at Microsoft Corporation. Most recently he was the Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Operations. Bill had management responsibility for global operational teams consisting of a multinational workforce of 2000 personnel including full function regional operating centers located in the US, Europe and Asia. This complex organization provided customer support, transactional systems, turnkey manufacturing and supply chain management involving 80 companies with 180 locations worldwide. Previously Bill spent 17 years at Digital Equipment Corporation where he worked in all aspects of operations including manufacturing, logistics, materials management, transactional systems as well as the creation of Dec Direct. During his time at DEC Bill also worked to establish supply chain systems consulting services at the company. Bill holds an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. |
