Mr. Matone joined NorthMarq Capital in September 2003 when NorthMarq acquired the mortgage banking division of Legg Mason Real Estate Services (LMRES) where he was employed since 1993. Mr. Matone is currently Senior Vice President and Managing Director of NorthMarq’s Charlotte and Raleigh regional offices. Mr. Matone’s responsibilities include debt and equity placement for the insurance companies and pension fund investors represented by NorthMarq, as well as the development of new clients and financing opportunities in the Charlotte MSA. Mr. Matone also manages the Charlotte office. Mr. Matone has originated and/or facilitated over $500,000,000 in real estate financing. Mr. Matone has over 20 years experience in commercial real estate sales and financing. Prior to joining LMRES, Mr. Matone was self employed with his own mortgage brokerage company, DMF Resources in Charlotte. Mr. Matone received his B.S. degree in Marketing from Indiana University. Additionally, he is a licensed real estate salesperson and holds a series 7 and 64 securities license. |
