Mr. Karpovich is the co-founder and CEO of Zenoss, an enterprise-grade open source network and systems monitoring and management platform. He is a forward-thinking executive who has successfully launched several disruptive IT infrastructure products and associated businesses. Like Zenoss, these offerings have made it easier for organizations of all sizes to obtain substantially increased value from their IT investments. New products and businesses that Mr. Karpovich has launched have accumulated over $1 billion in sales. Over the past 10 years, Mr. Karpovich has held leadership positions with several successful IT start-ups including USinternetworking, Inc. and Digex Inc., which both had successful IPOs on the NASDAQ. Before entering the start-up domain, he spent 5 years with Accenture, Inc., formally Andersen Consulting, where he specialized in application architecture of next-generation information systems for the telecommunications industry. Mr. Karpovich is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with high distinction from Duke University where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. He is also a graduate of the Mindshare CEO Program. Mr. Karpovich sits on the Strategic Advisory Board for the Anne Arundel Tech Council and the Board of Directors of the Open Management Consortium. |
