Prior to starting ASA, Bill helped grow and guide one of the software industry's most successful companies, LEGENT, which is now part of Computer Associates. He is experienced at managing in a high growth environment, building a winning organization, and maintaining a competitive edge. Bill built a vast knowledge base of the software industry, having served in high-level sales, systems engineering, and management positions with LEGENT, Memorex, Mobay Chemical and Mellon Bank. During his 11 years with LEGENT (formerly Duquesne Systems and now part of CA) the company grew from less than $1M in annual revenue to over $150M. During this time he served in a number of roles including Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. |
