Bill began his career with Georgeson & Co., where he worked with corporate executives to develop effective investor relations programs. After six years of consulting, Bill moved into product management positions initially at Georgeson and subsequently at Technimetrics, where he led the product development efforts for the Corporate, Buyside, and Sellside markets. With the acquisition of Technimetrics by Thomson Financial, Bill moved to First Call, where he initially led First Call's product management and marketing groups and ultimately had general management responsibility for First Call's Buyside division. Most recently, Bill co-founded a real-time financial information company called Business Data Exchange (BD-X), which was sold to CCBN.com in April 2002.
Bill is a graduate of Dartmouth College, holds a master's degree in Business Administration from New York University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
