The idea for Loadstar's capacitive sensing product was hatched by Bill Dallenbach, an entrepreneur and inventor who has been developing new products in his garage for the past twenty five years. Bill has a talent for spotting unmet needs and developing electromechanical devices that blend mechanical innovation with microcontroller based instrumentation and controls. Some of his earlier inventions include Hot Lap in-car timing system, Hotwire one-wire wiring harness for automobiles, a computerized weather station, hydrocolloid dental heater, a computer flat mouse, and the first embedded microprocessor ECG. Prior to Loadstar Sensors, Bill Dallenbach founded Serena Industries Inc., and Trius Corp. Dallenbach earned a BA from San Jose State University. |
