As a founding partner in Rising Tide, Bill brings a unique combination of hands on and consulting experience specializing in generating increased revenues and profits for media companies. Bill spent over 12 years in general management, sales management, and sales positions working in both trade and consumer magazines and newspapers. His previous roles include president of South East Publishing, a consumer magazine company of which he also served as a director, as well as sales management, marketing and sales positions at Folio, Curriculum Product Review and Network World. As a consultant for the past nine years Bill has worked with a diverse client base, helping media companies leverage existing assets, design, develop and bring new products to market, assess acquisition targets and extend current brands into new media. He has brought his expertise to traditional offline media as well as a number of web-based organizations. He has worked with both consumer and trade media organizations on both offline and online products.
