Bill Brown graduated from the University of Denver with a BS degree in Accounting and a MSBA in Marketing. His early career provided accounting, programming and management expertise to small, large and rapidly growing companies. He became a small business owner with the founding of a computer service bureau in 1970. With the advent of the mini-computer he co-founded a hardware and software company in Denver that specialized in turnkey systems for the transportation industry heading up the sales activity. In 1985 he became co-owner of a truck load trucking company, managing the sales division, which was ultimately purchased by a large transportation company.
With document management taking root in the transportation company in the early 90's, Bill left the transportation industry to become President of a document imaging entity specializing in transportation. In 1995 he founded Brook Hollow, Inc. which provided document management solutions for the transportation and manufacturing/distribution industries.
Brook Hollow was initially a re-seller of an imaging system that was not a Microsoft centric design. Brook Hollow internally designed and developed doc-link, a Microsoft centric document management software system interfaced with financial, manufacturing and distribution software.
In late 2000 Brook Hollow was merged with Altec with Bill overseeing the sales effort of doc-link for the company. His entrepreneurial experience coupled with accounting and business data processing provides an excellent background in assisting companies with re-engineering their document centric business processing with the doc-link software. |
