Bill Beckmann was appointed President and COO of CitiMortgage, Inc. in July 2005. He oversees all aspects of the company’s residential first mortgage business, including First Collateral Services, a mortgage warehouse lending operation. CitiMortgage is a leading lender and servicer responsible for more than 3 million customer relationships, $400 billlion in managed assets, $100 billion in annual originations, and more than $1billion in net income. He is a member of Citi’s Management Committee.
Previously, Bill served as President of Citi’s Real Estate Servicing and Technology division. In this capacity, he had oversight for the servicing and technology of Citi’s residential real estate properties, including CitiMortgage, CitiFinancial Mortgage, Citicorp Trust Bank, Private Mortgage Operations, and the CitiFinancial Network.
Prior to this, Bill was President of Specialty Lending, where he had responsibility for three business units, including The Student Loan Corporation, First Collateral Services, and Private Mortgage Operations.
Earlier, Bill had spent two years as vice president of strategy and new business development at IBM, where he helped form IBM’s Global Internet Division. Before that, he had held a variety of positions in Citibank’s consumer and information businesses.
Bill is a member of the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Mississippi Valley, Inc. and The Enterprise Foundation, Washington, D.C.
He has an M.S. in Management from the Stanford Sloan Program and a B.A. from Brown University. |
