Bill Adelson is an architect with over 25 years of experience in real estate, architecture, and construction. He is a licensed architect in California, New York, and New Jersey and is NCARB Certified. Bill received his degree in architecture from Princeton University and his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He has managed building projects of all sizes. He did his early training in architecture with the famed architect Philip Johnson on large scale projects in San Francisco and Dallas. Before co-founding Envision Solar, LLC, Bill was a Senior Associate at Tucker Sadler Architects in San Diego, which for nearly 50 years has been one of the premier architectural firms in Southern California. Bill was the Project Manager in Charge of Tucker Sadler’s largest projects including: The master planning for the Phase 3 expansion of the San Diego Convention Center - a 1.5 million sf expansion estimated to cost $700 million. The Navy Administration Building for the Manchester Pacific Gateway Development an 18 story high-rise, build-to-suit office building for the headquarters of the US Navy west of the Mississippi. The 500,000 sf project is estimated to cost $125 million and will be LEED Silver Certified. Bill managed the entire sustainable strategy for this project. Helen Woodward Animal Center, a $48 million reconstruction of one of San Diego’s famed not-for-profit organizations. Prior to joining Tucker Sadler, Bill was the VP of Development for the US real estate investment arm of Siemens AG. Based in New York City, for six years, Bill developed and managed offices and fabrication plants for Siemens in New York, Toronto, Chicago, and Seattle. |
