Bill DeMuth began his career at Roseville Telephone Company in 1976. DeMuth assesses new technologies, oversees corporate technology initiatives, develops technology strategies and oversees SureWest’s information technology (IT) department. He serves on the United States Telecom Association's technical tactics committee, is a member of the Board of Directors for ATIS, a technical planning and standards development organization, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Placer County Child Abuse Prevention Council. DeMuth holds a master’s degree in telecommunications management from Golden Gate University and a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from California State Polytechnic University.
