Bringing a wealth of non-profit fundraising and development experience, Bettina came to the Civic Theatre in fall of 2006. After graduating from West Chester University with a degree in literature and political science, Bettina started her professional career as a grant writer for Valley Youth House, a local social service agency, later going on to head their development department. She then spent some time raising money for Lehigh University's Athletic Partnership. Well-versed in grant writing, event planning, donor cultivation, and managing campaigns, Bettina seeks to engage the community in Civic's mission and broaden our donor base, which includes foundations, corporations, government offices, and individuals. Through sponsorships, memberships, contributions, and grants, she looks to foster continued growth and success for Civic Theatre's programs and, in upcoming years, will also be highly focused on our facilities' capital needs. |
