Beth brings 15 years of experience across a broad range of industries to the senior search and consulting services offered in the firm’s Washington office. Beth's practice areas include legal services, risk management, professional and financial services, boards of directors, media & entertainment, and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to joining CTPartners, Beth was communications director of the National Association of Manufacturers, led by former Michigan governor John Engler, where she focused on marketing and media initiatives with Fortune 100 members. Beth worked in the media and entertainment industry at Endeavor, the Hollywood talent agency, representing writers, directors, motion picture studios, producers, and cable and broadcast networks. She began her career as a radio journalist for the Voice of America in Nairobi, Kenya. She was the first U.S. journalist to interview Sudanese president Gen. Omar Al-Bashir when his forces took control of the country in a 1989 coup d'etat. Having worked for ABC News in East Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Cox Newspapers Washington bureau, Beth joined the staff of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee as a speechwriter for its chairman, Senator Sam Nunn. She then co-founded and managed a media company, Planet Vox, specializing in satellite and broadband video news distribution. Beth has a B.A. in History from Yale University |
